The project „Professional training of teachers in the pre-university education system for new opportunities of career development" represents the natural sequel of the Project for Rural Education, which highlighted the deep need of so many teachers in pre-university system to have access to a second specialization.

De ce

Our goals are:
► Improvement of the professional training level of 1,000 teachers in the pre-university education system, 10% of them being in the early stage of their teaching careers, they being thus offered a real opportunity for professional training. They will become better trained teachers with updated information in their expertise field and beneficiating at the same time from proper study conditions and facilities, didactic materials, etc. The 1,000 teachers in the pre-university education system are, thus, offered a real opportunity for professional development, they receiving, at the end of the maximum 2-year period of post-university level studies, a diploma of professional conversion which will allow them, for instance, to get the teaching workload in one school. Each teacher gets a new statute in the teaching community implicitly conferring stability to the entire Romanian education system.
► Increase in the usage degree of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in the teaching process, considering that those courses are held in the format of distance education.
